The Manager of the Program Resources team exists to lead the team in procurement of non-cash resources and operational excellence, providing strategic guidance to the team and the Partnerships department.

The Program Resourcing Team’s primary purpose is to maximise the impact on children’s lives of donated non-cash resources, which enhance broader field programming. They are accountable for the start-to-finish of this function and the successful manager will drive and maintain the already high performing culture of this team.

Who we're looking for

Understanding the significance of sustainability in our strategy toward providing non-cash contributions to field needs and program resourcing, and its close relationship with local business development and partnership brokering efforts, is paramount to understanding the culture that drives this team to succeed.

Strong candidates will be capable people managers who have had experience running small teams of technical experts, and be experts in strategy. You will also:

  • Have a strong knowledge of international development, preferably with a fundraising or B2B solutions background
  • 5 years+ experience managing teams, with an emphasis on small teams of technical experts
  • Be capable of maintaining close working relationships with key internal stakeholders to “get things done”
  • Have a recently completed MBA or tertiary education in International Development or relevant courses

What you need to know

This role is a permanent position operating in a full-time capacity and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.
