The Opportunity to Make a Difference:

The purpose of this role is to support the Senior UX/UI Designer on a number of digital projects and digital products that support World Vision Australia to successfully fundraise in the digital space, and to engage and retain supporters.

 

A day in the life of WVA’s UX/UI Designer includes:

You will be in charge to:

  • Manage the WVA website and content & develop and design new website pages as required
  • Develop and design new wireframes, user-flows and prototypes
  • Analyse, review and report on effectiveness of designs 
  • Stakeholder management and requirement gathering

 

Who are you?

  • 2-5 years in a digital technical environment
  • Agile experience and understanding of scrum
  • Ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite,
  • Working knowledge of HTML and LESS(CSS), Javascript etc
  • Familiar with GIT
  • Fluent in all design tools- Photoshop, Illustrator and other design tools
  • Front end development skills
  • Strong web based digital design capability
  • Strong knowledge of wire framing or prototyping tools and workflow models
  • Mobile design and development
  • The ability to learn and manage a custom CMS (Sitefinity)
  • UX & ecommerce design
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude, and a proactive approach to all tasks
  • Social media savvy
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest design trends
  • Demonstrable ability to display initiative, take responsibility for projects and show a proactive attitude
  • Flexible and ability to manage changing priorities.
  • An ability to work autonomously and self-motivate

 

This role is a 3 months fixed term contract operating in a part-time capacity (22.5h/w) and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.
