An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Training Advisor to design and deliver effective training content that will enable frontline teams to achieve financial and non-financial targets. The Frontline Training Advisor will ensure fundraising teams are developing the right capabilities to achieve these results through quality values-based conversations with our supporters, across various fundraising channels (face-to-face, contact centre, peer-to-peer).

Collaborating with SMEs and internal stakeholders, you’ll bring the right people together to develop smart, efficient and simple training packages using both classrooms, online and on-the-job delivery tools.

Who are we looking for?

You will thrive in a changing environment and lead the training function for frontline teams in our Retail department, executing on recruitment & onboarding training as well as training of new systems and product offerings. You’ll bring a maturity to your role to proactively lead your own work, and an ability to multi-task on multiple training projects for each of the Retail fundraising channels.

What does ‘a day in the life’ of a Frontline Training Advisor look like?

  • Engaging with SME’s to develop and deliver adaptive and blended training packages
  • Facilitate a variety of training sessions for new and existing frontline employees
  • Developing engaging and impactful sales training solutions for frontline Retail employees
  • On a practical level, you will understand the business needs, assess gaps in the current workforce, and develop frameworks & training content to address these gaps
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the activities through post-implementation reviews, quality assurance, results analysis and first-hand monitoring
  • Demonstrate a digital first mindset, looking at ways to train across Australia in digital format
  • From time to time you will need to contribute your expertise in training to support projects

This is a permanent full-time position based at our head office in East Burwood, Melbourne.
