The National Sales Consultant role is responsible for customer acquisition, sales growth and account management for Little Things Coffee, a social enterprise that sources specialty grade, ethically sourced, small-batch roasted coffee with all profits going toward funding World Vision’s vital community development and emergency relief work for over 100 million people worldwide.

Little Things Coffee encompasses both retail and wholesale businesses, its café found at Blackburn in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Reporting to the Head of Social Enterprise, this opportunity calls for a proven BDM with a passion and knowledge of the coffee industry and a high business-ethos alignment – being capable of communicating the entire value proposition that this strong brand has to offer.

Expectations and Selection Criteria

Some of the key responsibilities that the successful candidate would be expected to deliver, would include:

  • Development and delivery of a Sales and Distribution strategy
  • High degree of new business development appetite - proactive relationship building with relevant industry stakeholders and a keen eye for recognising strategic alliances
  • A disciplined and organised approach to account management and CRM usage, being accountable for how best to manage the portfolio of clients/partners
  • Coffee knowledge... a passion and interest for the industry will strengthen your ability to understand clients and build key relationships
  • Superior sales skills with a proven sales record, demonstration of existing distribution networks also being highly favourable
  • Business ethos and values alignment with our mission and purpose!
