The Opportunity to Make a Difference:

The Middle Donors Officer role is responsible for achieving financial and non-financial targets by building a pipeline of schools and church donor opportunities through retention and growth within the Philanthropy Middle donors’ portfolio.

 

A day in the life of WVA’s Middle Donors Officer includes:

This role is responsible for:

  • Identifying (independently and collaboratively) schools and churches who may wish to consider supporting World Vision,
  • Creating opportunities to engage with existing and new schools and churches in order to meet financial targets,
  • Building engagement and talking to donors about WVA projects, our impact as organisation and how we use our donor funds,
  • Providing an outstanding experience for our supporters.

     

Who are you?

  • Strong business skills and the ability to identify strategic and valuable opportunities for schools and churches (experience with churches and schools is highly valued),
  • Previous experience in Business development and/or account management,
  • Exceptional networking and entrepreneurial ability,
  • Strong capability to liaise with senior management and decision makers,
  • Ability in negotiating, influencing, writing of proposals, and presenting to prospects at a middle to senior level.

 

What you need to know

This role is a permanent contract operating in a part-time capacity (20h/week) and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.
