The Opportunity to Make a Difference:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Test Analyst to join the World Vision Digital Delivery Team.

 

A day in the life of WVA’s Digital Test Analyst includes:

Reporting to the Digital Solutions Architect, you will be tasked with executing several key responsibilities, including:

  • Contributing to the planning and execution of functional, regression and user acceptance testing across World Vision’s digital platforms, 3rd party vendor applications as well as desktop and/or mobile applications
  • Providing testing support for large, complex, technology-dependent programs and projects that cut across business functional areas
  • Managing defects to monitor and report on defect resolution
  • Designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts and assisting in creation of manual test scripts

     

Who are you?

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a Digital Tester, Test Analyst, QA or UAT role
  • Hands-on knowledge of SDLC principles and QA methodologies/best practices
  • Experience in the design of detailed functional and regression test plans, and the creation and execution of test scripts
  • Writing automated tests and test scripts
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile project methodologies
  • Hands-on experience conducting testing across a wide range of digital and ecommerce applications
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to multi-task & handle multiple test assignments & prioritize one's own work
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyse detailed business requirements
  • Passion for online & mobile technologies
  • Written and verbal communication skills – able to present status, facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing and organized manner
  • Flexibility and adaptability - able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction, while remaining extremely organized and following tight deadlines

To excel in this role, you will have high attention to detail and be analytical and curious to explore the various facets of World Visions digital platforms and enterprise technologies.

You must also be able to think critically about requirements and test cases to ensure that the quality of our applications meet the high expectations of our supporters. Your communication skills and willingness to learn will ensure your growth into the role and beyond.

Technically, you must have an understanding of mobile and web application technologies. A degree or advanced diploma in computer sciences, information technology or similar is desirable

 

Utilizing Tools

While having direct knowledge in all of the following platforms, languages or frameworks is not a requirement, it is expected that you will have the desire and ability to quickly learn from your experiences and utilise the following technologies in your role:

  • Knowledge of BDD with C#, Selenium, SpecFlow or similar tools
  • .NET Core or C#
  • SQL & basic database skills
  • Working within Agile/Scrum environment
  • CMS, ERP, CRM systems
  • API/system integration/using tools like POSTMAN, swagger, SoapUI
  • Jira, Confluence

This role is a permanent contract operating in a full-time capacity and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.
