The Opportunity to Make a Difference:

The Administration Manager position provides high levels of administrative and operational support to the Chief of Technology and the overall Technology department. This role plays an important part in project coordination and communication across multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.

 

A day in the life of WVA's Administration Manager includes:

A day in the life of our Administration Manager may include some of the following:

  • Bringing cohesion to the departmental processes;
  • Providing high level administrative advice and support with calendar scheduling, onboarding, and events scheduling;
  • Initiate manage and process finance-related tasks;
  • Preparing complex reports, initiating, managing and processing tasks;
  • Travel management & support;
  • Coordinating & attending monthly team meetings;
  • Assist the Chief in managing their Budget and cost centre, approvals and acquittals.

 

Who are you?

With a successful track record, and experience providing administration management and/or executive support, we are seeking a motivated person with a professional ambition and desire to succeed.

You will have a solid interest in supporting teams and see the opportunity to improve communication and process support as integral. You will have strong stakeholder management capability, proven influencing skills and can relate and communicate effectively with a diverse mix of supporters and stakeholders.

In addition, you will possess the following:

  • Positive and professional communication & collaboration skills;
  • Ambition and drive to work as part of a professional team;
  • Amazing time management and organisational skills;
  • Proven experience and complete confidence in using a variety of different computer programs and tools with advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Experience in dealing with confidential material and sensitive matters.

 

What you need to know

This role is a fixed term contract from beginning of May 2019 to end of July 2019 (3 months), operating in a full-time capacity and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.

For your information, the interviews will start immediately, and the role may be filled before the closing date.
