The Opportunity to be a Changemaker…

This role exists as part of a Processing Services team, primarily responsible for timely and accurate processing of financial transactions such as accounts payable, intercompany charges, credit card acquittal and income data processing. This requires a focus on accurate and timely processing and the ability to take on different tasks across these areas of transactions.

On the day to day basics, the role holder will be in charge to:

  • Timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors, ATO, superannuation and supporters;
  • >90% reimbursements, petty cash requests, credit card acquittals and travel acquittals processed within 5 working days;
  • Process settlement advices within 10 days;
  • > 80% of iPOS invoices to be paid on time;
  • > 80% of invoices less than 60 days in the aged creditors report;
  • Process all telegraphic transfers within 3 working days of receipt;
  • Timely processing of invoices, purchase orders and goods receipt notes;
  • Process all credit card application, cancellation and suspension within 1 working day;
  • Timely processing of invoices, purchase orders and goods receipt notes;
  • Accurate vendor payment runs.

The Processing Services Officer role will also be required to interact and engage effectively with various stakeholders, internal and external to World Vision Australia.

This role must demonstrate a service focus and approach processes and practices with a continuous improvement mindset.


Who we are looking for…

This position requires a person who is willingness to learn new tasks, to assist others, and to develop his/her capabilities. In addition, the successful applicant will possess the following knowledge, experience and key capabilities:

  • Experience in a banking environment and/or supplier payment/accounts receivable environment
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service / financial role with funds and information processing,
  • Ability to work with business processes / systems
  • Ability to identify and make process improvements and efficiencies within the team
  • Proven ability to work towards achieving key performance indicators at team and individual level
  • Demonstrated knowledge in processing of monetary contributions under financial Institution guidelines 
  • Reconciliation Skills
  • PCI Compliance awareness
  • Computer literacy skills e.g. strong skills in the use of MS Office Suite, email, calendar, and accurate and efficient keyboard / data entry skills
