World Vision Australia is now on the lookout for passionate people who are looking to make a difference through the Vision Artist program which seeks to use many forms of artistic expression to connect world issues with the Australian public. World Vision is Australia's largest overseas aid and humanitarian Not for Profit organisation. As well as providing relief in emergency situations, World Vision work on long-term development projects to address the causes of poverty and to help communities become self-sufficient. Our mission is to engage Australians in the effort to eliminate poverty and its causes. The Vision Artist Program fulfils this by partnering with artists who also seek to transform lives affected by poverty around the world. The Vision Artist Volunteer role exists to attend the performances of Vision Artists at live venues, churches, stadiums and festivals to represent World Vision. In line with the messages of the artist, Child Sponsorship or Child Rescue will be offered to the Australian public through the Vision Artist Volunteers to work to overcome poverty and its cause's one child at a time. To come onboard as a Vision Artist Volunteer, we'd love you to have: - Passion to change the lives of children in need - Confidence, lots of personality and self motivated - Experience in Retail/Hospitality - Sales skill base - Customer service and experience representing an organisation - Professional attitude - Willing to chat with anyone and everyone! - Driving interest in music and the creative arts
