An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the WVA Talent Team as a Talent Acquisition Advisor. In this full time role, you will be responsible for sourcing and cultivating a pipeline of talent for World Vision Australia through innovative outreach methods. The role with be accountable and take ownership for the sourcing and recruitment of candidates within the client portfolio which will include stakeholder management, support, guidance and training, as well as administrative & compliance activities/responsibilities.
A day in the life of our Talent Acquisition Advisor will include the following:
- Collaborating with hiring managers to provide guidance, expertise and support to attract and employ the desired talent for our team
- Owning the talent acquisition cycle from end to end, spanning all areas and disciplines
- Leveraging technology and processes to enhance the recruitment process
- Establishing a pipeline of talent and community hub to further strengthen our ability to achieve our vision
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within and outside our business
- Multi-tasking schedules, planning, process and stakeholder management
What Success Looks Like?
You excel working in a fun, dynamic and passionate team. You love forming strong relationships, which let you effectively engage with stakeholders and to perform at peak. You are a subject matter expert and can collaborate and influence with senior stakeholders to deliver the desired outcome.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience sourcing talent and establishing talent pipelines
- Strong understanding of talent and capabilities models, recruiting fundamentals, competitive market awareness and social sourcing
- Strong communications skills both written and oral
- Understanding of industrial relations legislation with regards to recruitment & selection
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn as a recruiting tool advantageous
- In-house and agency experience preferable
- Ability to work autonomously, taking full ownership and accountability
- Knowledge of the web/Internet market space, academic institutions, alumni associations and other sources of great candidates
- Excellent organisational, influencing and collaboration skills
