The Opportunity to lead a team of Changemakers…

The Retail Operations Manager will be a trusted advisor and business partner who reports to the Head of Contact Centre, Operations, and supports Heads of Channels across key areas – Contact Centre, Retail & Events, Churches & Schools and Field Supporter Transformations Teams. 

This is a critical role where you will support Heads of Channels by developing, coordinating and managing the operational delivery of the Retail go-to-market channels and marketing programs and initiatives, with the overall objective to improve retail fundraising and subscription performance.

Some of the Key Accountabilities include:

  • Lead the development of the retail operations/distribution strategy to achieve strategic visions & targets
  • Lead the development of future digital capabilities to engage & connect with supporters
  • Ensure channel income targets & budgets met on-time & in full
  • Design and implement training, learning and development & sales capability, quality assurance programs
  • Provide leadership, guidance & coaching to a multidisciplinary team
  • Budget management to achieve agreed forecast outcomes
  • Review supplier & vendor relationships to reduce cost
  • Deliver information & analytics to support design & people capability activity
  • Manage & execute retail campaign calendar to ensure campaigns are executed in a timely manner
  • Oversee retail & supporter experience risk management & legal compliance requirements
  • Building subscription fundraising & customer service capabilities

  • Strong business, commercial & budget acumen
  • Contract management & negotiation skills
  • Understanding & management of marketing processes, campaigns and briefs
  • Excellent internal & external stakeholder management
  • Thorough understanding of legal, risk & compliance management

This role is a permanent Full Time opportunity and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.
