The Opportunity to lead a team of Changemakers…

This is a newly created position reporting to the Head of Retail Activations and Events and is responsible for managing the third-party business model & securing new strategic relationships & revenue streams within the retail portfolio.  The Manager will be a key driver in the development of a culture of business development across retail, helping the group to achieve financial targets and new acquisition channels, supporter acquisition/retention & regeneration strategies.

Some of the Key Accountabilities include:

  • Manage third-party Sales Partners on a day to day basis to drive fundraising income
  • Manage contracts & negotiations ensuring they meet business requirements
  • Review business processes & ensuring relevant third-party action
  • Meet subscription & cash income targets
  • Strategically researching & planning for targeting of new potential opportunities
  • Present proposals to prospective stakeholders & engage them in supporting WVA’s work
  • Effective management of due diligence & risk assessment processes, formal partnership agreements
  • Oversee legal compliance & contract requirements
  • Use segmentation data & analytics to choose locations based on key market segments
  • Manage a profitable & cost-efficient channel

 

Who we are looking for…

  • Minimum 3 years B2B/B2C sales, fundraising or account management experience essential
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong networking & influencing abilities
  • Strategic thinking & commercial acumen, an ‘entrepreneurial’ mindset
  • Prior experience in sales environment across different facets including doorknocking, outbound sales, retail
  • Financial acumen
  • Use of CRM (i.e Salesforce)
  • Creative, Innovative and Problem Solver

 

What you need to know…

This role is a permanent contract operating in a Full-Time capacity and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.
