The Opportunity to lead a team of Changemakers…

Reporting to the Head of Retail Activations & Events, this role is responsible for all Operational Management of the Face to Face (F2F) Retail Activations Team nationwide with a key focus to acquire new supporters and supporting a trusted brand image.  The primary focus will be the day to day performance of Team Leaders and their staff, motivating and supporting them to be highly engaged successful fundraisers across multiple states in Australia.  You will have 6-8 direct reports and up to 100 indirect reports, requiring someone with strong people skills, able to effectively lead and guide their staff to be the best they can be!

Some of the Key Accountabilities include:

  • Accountable for day to day management of Team Leaders who work remotely, including operational readiness & performance management.
  • Provide leadership, guidance & coaching to Team Leaders & Promoters
  • Ensure Team Leaders & Promoters adhere to World Vision Australia (WVA) and fundraising practices including quality assurance, time & attendance, payroll processes, engagement surveys & Quarterly performance reviews
  • Recruitment management for the channel both local and interstate
  • Achieve financial targets on time and in full
  • Analysis of figures, trends & other related data for future planning requirements
  • Manage labour budgets & targets ensuring a profitable & cost-efficient channel

Who we are looking for…

  • Strong sales experience ideally across a variety of customer centric forums including face to face, contact centre, retail (fundraising preferred)
  • Passionate, fun and people focussed manager.
  • Highly skilled at problem solving, persuasive & able to think on your feet
  • Coaching & strong people management experience, able to engage & motivate teams
  • Strong budget management experience & able to analyse financial data
  • Consistent track record of achieving targets & managing teams
  • Excellent communicator and can inspire and manage remote teams
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Regular local travel and some interstate travel required.
