An opportunity has opened up to join the team at World Vision Australia as the Project Manager – Technology Business Engagement. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, and working closely with the Head of IT Operations, this role forms the business interface between Technology and other departments, providing comprehensive business engagement and project management services, in alignment with organisational strategic objectives.

This is a pivotal role within Technology that operates autonomously and requires a high degree of independence yet aligns closely with the department’s strategic direction and key priorities.

Key elements of success are:

  • adept stakeholder management with internal cross-departmental staff
  • managing complexities and competing priorities, ensuring project goals are delivered on time and budget
  • vendor and partner management of external parties / resources contributing to projects
  • capability to engage with the various business departments and understand front-end of initiatives
  • ability to foster strong relationships within the department and ensure alignment across various levels of the organisation

Who we’re looking for:

The successful applicant will have a breadth of capabilities, including:

  • deep experience in program/project management methodologies
  • a particular strength in stakeholder management and successful cross-departmental engagement and collaboration
  • proven ability to successfully manage complexities and competing priorities to deliver project goals on time and budget
  • relevant tertiary qualifications or accreditation
  • proven experience leading teams in solution delivery, software development, project/resource management, and outsourcing/engaging external service delivery providers
