A great short term max contract opportunity exists to join World Vision Australia, Australia’s number one charity trusted brand resulting from an internal secondment. You are a true generalist, with exceptional relationship management skills, who can work at both a strategic and operational level and can truly add value and make a difference. You will be working closely with the P&C team, executives and departments to deliver change, capability, and culture outcomes for high performance results.
Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, enabling us to support our mission of empowering Australians to create meaningful change for the world’s most vulnerable children and adults.
This is a Maximum Term contract role until December 2024.
Your responsibilities:
- Leads and operationalises the execution of specific projects / change initiatives
- Partners with groups in developing workforce plans to ensure that there are appropriately skilled resources to meet organisational objectives and commitments
- Supports cyclical events i.e. annual remuneration review, performance review calibrations reviews etc.
- Organisation Design, workforce planning and change execution,
- Partner with departments and Talent to examine current and future capability needs
- Lead workplace relations cases including performance management, investigations, mediations, and employee discipline/grievance issues in a procedurally fair manner
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for someone who is trusted, has a can-do, problem-solving aptitude, with excellent generalist business partnering experience and exercises resilience and tenacity.
You will also have:
- Strong generalist experience in all facets of P&C
- Strong communication, influencing and facilitation skills
- Excellent knowledge of employment law and legislation
- High proficiency in Microsoft office suite applications i.e. excel, word, PowerPoint
- Change Management qualifications (highly desirable)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related business field
