At World Vision Australia, our Digital Team plays a critical role in connecting supporters to the impact they help create. Now in its third year, this highly skilled and passionate team leads the ongoing transformation of our digital platforms, driving supporter engagement and creating meaningful digital experiences that deliver real-world impact.
We are looking for a Digital Content Specialist to help us continue that journey. You will be responsible for writing, publishing and optimising digital content to support acquisition, conversion, engagement and SEO outcomes across World Vision Australia’s owned digital platforms. This role is highly execution-focused and plays a critical part in enabling campaigns and new digital initiatives to launch on time and perform effectively.

In this role, you will:
- Create and publish high-quality digital content including landing pages, campaign content, modular components and supporting on-platform assets
- Execute content updates and new builds within the content management system, ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to digital standards
- Support campaign and project delivery through timely creation, iteration and optimisation of digital content assets
- Apply content design principles to structure information clearly and effectively for digital audiences
- Work closely with the digital and digital delivery teams in a collaborative environment
- Work within Figma to design and refine content layouts in collaboration with UX designers
- Write clear, concise and user-focused copy informed by usability principles and user needs
- Ensure consistency, tone and quality of copy across digital journeys and components
- Apply SEO best practices in day-to-day content creation and publishing
- Contribute to developing and maintaining content guidelines and documentation, helping ensure consistency with World Vision’s brand framework and compliance with ACFID (Australian Council for International Development) guidelines
- Develop positive and productive working relationships with stakeholders from across the organisation, leveraging these relationships to help define new digital content opportunities and provide subject matter expertise
Who you are
As the successful applicant, you will bring strong attention to detail, a passion for digital content excellence and a practical understanding of how content contributes to performance outcomes across the digital funnel. You are comfortable working across multiple workstreams and thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-oriented environment.
In addition, you will have:
- A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a digital content, content design or UX copywriting role, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience in digital copywriting, editing and content development
- Proficient in content layout, content design and publishing using content management systems. Experience in Figma is an advantage
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to apply these to on-page content to support reach and discoverability
- Experience applying UX and CX principles when creating content to support digital journeys, features and product updates
- Practical understanding of digital analytics and performance insights
- Strong content mindset with an understanding of how audiences engage with and consume digital content
