The Position

This role is for the person who lives and loves social media, is passionate for driving change and wants to be part of a dedicated creative team.

You will create, develop, support and build social media content, in line with the brand and supporter experience strategy, for campaigns and always on assets across the spectrum of social channels like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and other networks. The creative process will include receiving and interpreting briefs, developing them as rough concepts, and presenting them to the marketing stakeholders for feedback.

Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, enabling us to support our mission of empowering Australians to create meaningful change for the world’s most vulnerable children and adults.

Part Time – 22.5 Hours per week (3 days)

Your main areas of accountability:

  • A strong user focus, designing content that address user need and enhance user experience.
  • Demonstrate campaign thinking across a range of social media channels
  • Generating and communicating the rationale in presentations and/or documentation
  • Taking into considerations broader business objectives, branding objectives and brand guidelines
  • Creation of concept drawings, storyboards or other low-res prototypes or mock-ups to communicate concepts
  • Responsibility to ensure the concept and design of digital campaign components are delivered on-time to align with off-line collateral
  • Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Maintain a high awareness of industry best practices and trends, particularly regarding accessibility, usability, and emerging social media strategies

Who we’re looking for 

We are looking for someone who has a portfolio of experience demonstrating a high level of expertise to deliver stunning concepts and content to meet briefs, user needs and stakeholder expectations. You will be an innate creative designer and content creator that lives in the social space.

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Experience within a fast paced, flexible environment
  • Sound knowledge of the creative environment
  • Sound application of software required for traditional social media asset development
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and methodologies
  • Familiarity with campaign thinking across multiple touch points from traditional to digital
  • Comfortable with content creating
  • Communication (particularly pitching ideas)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Media, Graphic Arts and Communications
