The position

We’re seeking a Senior UX-UI Designer to join an award-winning Digital team to lead the design direction across World Vision Australia’s digital platforms. You’ll craft intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences that drive supporter engagement, donations, and fundraising outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

UX-UI Design

  • Design elegant, user-friendly experiences across web, mobile, and digital products
  • Develop and maintain design systems and universal design language
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI mock-ups
  • Present design rationale to stakeholders at all levels
  • Mentor other designers and uplift design capability
  • Integrate GenAI ethically into design processes or products
  • Co-design feasible solutions with tech teams
  • Use analytics and feedback to inform design decisions
  • Facilitate workshops and design sprints
  • Monitor post-launch performance and optimise accordingly
  • Partner with optimisation experts to run multivariate tests
  • Share insights and best practices across the global partnership

Who we’re looking for 

 The successful candidate will be a talented Senior UX-UI designer who is empathetic and understanding of customer needs, as well as hugely passionate about doing purpose led work. In addition to this:

Technical Skills

  • Strong concept design capability and ideation skills
  • Skilled in sketching, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design
  • Proficiency in Figma and interactive prototyping tools
  • Experience with inclusive design and WCAG 2.1 (AA) accessibility standards
  • Experience integrating data, testing, and feedback into design decisions
  • Ability to evaluate and improve interfaces through iterative design
  • Native app design experience (desirable)
  • Understanding of fundraising or the charity sector (preferred)
