The Position
This role supports the mass retail business by delivering accurate reporting, performance insights, and fundraising progress for the Community Retail & Supporter Experience (CR&SX) department. You will lead the development and implementation of the robust performance reporting framework that ensures data integrity and provides actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Lead reporting processes and collaboration with multiple channels (e.g., Contact Centre, Retail Face-to-Face) to produce meaningful analysis aligned with organisational goals. The role combines forecasting, analytics, and decision support to enhance reporting capability and data quality across the retail division.
Success in this role requires strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with strong proficiency in PowerBI, SQL & Python.
In this role, you will:
- Model business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assess risks, issues, and benefits of proposed solutions and outline business impacts
- Develop functional specifications and cost estimates to support decision-making
- Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for all stakeholders
- Design and maintain data analysis and reporting systems for the department
- Ensure database accuracy through regular updates and error resolution
- Build and deliver insightful reports using Power BI and SQL, highlighting trends and key data points
- Communicate analysis findings clearly to managers and stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for reporting and data-related queries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders through regular engagement
- Manage and track key performance indicators across retail operations
- Support technology initiatives, automation projects, and process enhancements
Who you are
We are looking for someone with strong analytical and organisational skills and the ability to work with and analyse large sets of data. Collaboration leading campaigns & related initiatives will be your strength and the ability to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
What you’ll bring:
- 3-5 years of experience as a financial or business analyst
- Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
- Experience accessing databases and warehouses
- General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
- Demonstrated experience to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
- Knowledge in best practise for communication and documenting key requirements and feedback from stakeholders
- Will view favourably experience in analysing Microsoft Dynamics CRM and cloud-based telephony platforms such as Genesys Cloud
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or Business administration or similar related fields
