The Opportunity to be a Changemaker…

Reporting to the Head of People Partnerships, the People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner (BP) works alongside their Group Executive(s) to provide strategic and tactical advice focused on :

  • Change: Leads major change management programs across the Group and coaches leaders in managing department level change programs and business restructuring activities using change management methodologies
  • Capability: Understands, develops and supports the capabilities required to develop enterprise wide impact year goals through contributing to and facilitating P&C in-house Management development programs, Talent and Succession planning, Manager capability programs and assisting to create an environment that fosters agility and resilience.
  • Culture: Coaches Group Lead Teams in developing and implementing Culture Management Plans to align the Group’s behaviours with the strategic outcomes desired and helps build a cohesive leadership team. 

The role works closely with the remainder of the Group Leadership team by influencing the agenda and being active ‘at the table’ to co-create business solutions and managing critical employee relations issues.

BPs sit within the People Partnerships Team and work together with the broader P&C team to support P&C wide challenges, coach and challenge team members and implement the P&C employee engagement strategies.

In addition, BPs are accountable for P&C wide key processes to ensure people practices are fit for purpose in accordance with the needs of the organisation.

A strong program of works is required to support leaders/managers at a time of change and the BP will work with Head of People Partnerships and other BPs to develop a program of works to respond to legislative and organisational change. The successful candidate will be a key player in leading projects under this program of works.

Who we are looking for…

  • Tertiary qualification, with in Human Resources/Organisational Development, Business, or commensurate experience
  • Strong generalist HR background and knowledge of key HR areas of practice including, ER/IR, OHS, Recruitment, Remuneration and Benefits
  • Ability to interpret Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and other industrial instruments 
  • Knowledge of change management theories, best practice and tested ability to balance with best fit
  • Delivery of organisational wide projects and quality change management
  • Built successful collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and worked with Executive teams from project conception/approval to execution
  • Demonstrated coaching of senior leaders in both the ‘how’ and the ‘what’ to achieve organisational goals

This role is a permanent position operating in a full-time capacity and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.
