Cafe All Rounder

This role acts as the daily face of Little Things Café, delivering friendly, efficient service that creates a warm welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Some of the Key Accountabilities include:

• Serve quality food, sandwiches, salads & cakes
• Follow procedures for all tasks as set out by café manager
• Ensure sections are organised and tidy
• Food preparation
• Light cooking (preparation of ingredients to put into sandwiches)
• General cleaning duties
• General service duties
• Handle customer requests in a kind and helpful manner

Who we are looking for:

• Experience in working in the hospitality industry (Café or Deli experience would be great)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Café point of sale and inventory systems experience
• Basic food prep skills with speed and efficiency
• Front of house duties experience
• Flexibility, the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once

What you need to know

This role is a casual position and will be based at Little Things Cafe at World Vision Australia’s head office in Burwood East, Victoria. We trade Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm.
