At World Vision Australia, we believe in a world where every child can thrive. As we enter a new phase of strategic growth, we’re seeking a dynamic, strategic and visionary leader to step into the role of Senior Manager – Insights & Impact.

This is not your average leadership role — you’ll be at the forefront of shaping how we measure, communicate, and drive impact across our global programs, while working closely with government and private sector donors and strategic partners to expand our influence and funding.

Your opportunity to lead:

  • Inspire and lead a team of 10+ high-performing professionals in strategy, evidence, research, impact reporting, and gender, disability and social inclusion.
  • Own and shape how WVA tells its story of change — from scalable impact systems to annual reports and donor briefs.
  • Inform strategy by leading market analysis and donor-aligned insights that directly shape WVA’s Institutional Market Strategy, Field Footprint Framework and global program portfolio.
  • Collaborate across WVA and the World Vision Partnership, aligning evidence with strategic partnerships, campaigns, and field programming to grow our income and deepen our impact.
  • Drive innovation, embedding digital tools and process, research and emerging models in how we design and evaluate our work.

What you bring:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience, including strategic advisory, donor engagement, or program impact roles — ideally within international development or consulting.
  • Proven success in driving business development and strategic planning aligned with government or multilateral donor priorities (e.g. DFAT, World Bank, EU, UN).
  • A sharp eye for insights and a passion for using data, evidence, and storytelling to drive strategy.
  • Outstanding leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across diverse teams and partners.
  • Experienced in high-quality proposal writing, project management, and commercial negotiations.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. marketing, international development, economics, public policy or related disciplines).
