The position

We are currently seeking a Contact Centre Consultant to join our amazing onsite team. We are seeking someone who thrives on creating positive and rewarding relations between World Vision Australia and our donors.

By working for World Vision, you are helping the world’s most vulnerable children by creating rewarding connections with our supporters.  You will engage our supporters through inbound or outbound channels to raise awareness, educate on World Vision programs, overcome objections, and securing monthly donations.

Location:  Burwood East, Victoria, 3151

Hours: Monday to Friday daytime shifts (8.45am-5.00pm/9.45am-6.00pm)

* You must be available for 2 weeks of full-time of training in office

A day in the life

  • Inbound/Outbound calls using your excellent rapport skills and personality to make your interactions personal as possible to raise donations and retain our supporters.
  • Healthy competition with yourself and your team mates to achieve KPIs.
  • Being able to manage supporters objections during difficult conversations.
  • Engagement / support and training as required.
  • Regular team huddles getting the most up to date news to you.
  • Having a laugh with your teammates and share good new stories & successes.
  • Working with your Team Leader to become the best supporter experience consultant you can be.
  • Social club with regular activities to connect with your peers 

About you

  • Sales/call centre experience is preferable.
  • Being able to work independently and in fast paced environment while having passion for the role.
  • Have a high drive to consistently achieve results.
  • A great communicator / storyteller who has a natural flair for conversation.
  • Someone with a great attitude and a willingness to learn and take on feedback to assist you grow with the business. 
  • High proficiency with technology
