The Opportunity to Make a Difference
As the Business Intelligence Data & Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality performance reports and dashboards that measure progress against key indicators and benchmarks. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping decision‑making for activities and campaigns while in market.
As a BI Data and Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for playing a lead role in:
- Organising data, designing and building World Vision’s dashboards and reports.
- World Vision’s power user of the business’ business intelligence tool (Power BI)
- Responsible for the delivery of support, analysis, reporting and advice on the organisation’s data.
- From time to time, you may also contribute to World Vision International global reporting initiatives.
You’ll be part of the Strategy Enablement and Performance (StEP) team, working closely with business analysts to ensure consistency in how data is used across the organisation. You’ll support the Manager, Performance Reporting, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
Who We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
- Internship or specialised experience in an Analytics role (ideally in a service organisation or NGO)
- Understanding of finance systems, financial reporting and accounting principles
- Experience leading initiatives/projects or aspirations to step into leadership
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills
- Proficiency with SQL Server for data analysis, modelling and reconciliation
- Experience with database development (Views, Stored Procedures, query optimisation, triggers, variables)
- Demonstrated experience building Power BI reports with strong design principles
