Sponsorship Operations & Fulfilment Lead

World Vision Australia is seeking an experienced Sponsorship Operations & Fulfilment Lead to strengthen our Child Sponsorship fulfilment model and deliver reliable, scalable and high-quality supporter experiences. This operational leadership role combines strategy, governance and continuous improvement to ensure every sponsorship journey is delivered with integrity, accuracy and care.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Sponsorship Giving Growth, you will be the operational authority for Child Sponsorship fulfilment. You will govern Registered Child inventory, oversee service standards and performance, resolve systemic issues, and partner across Australia and the World Vision Partnership to support acquisition, retention and meaningful supporter experiences. You will provide day-to-day direction, prioritisation and technical leadership to the CSPON Fulfilment & Registered Child Coordinator and contributes leadership across the Sponsorship Giving Growth team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operations and fulfilment: Own and improve the end-to-end operating model, standards, controls, service levels and performance; monitor delivery and resolve complex exceptions and systemic issues.
• Govern Registered Child inventory: Lead planning, forecasting, allocation and risk management; align supply with supporter demand and acquisition needs; and maintain data, image and reconciliation quality.
• Drive continuous improvement: Use data and root-cause analysis to identify opportunities, develop evidence-based business cases, and lead approved initiatives through implementation and benefits realisation.
• Partner across the organisation: Coordinate dependencies and provide operational expertise across fundraising, Supporter Care, Programs, Technology, Data, Privacy, Safeguarding, service providers, World Vision International and Field Offices.

About You

You are a strategic, hands-on operational leader who can solve complex problems, influence diverse stakeholders and build systems that deliver consistently high-quality outcomes. You bring:

• Significant experience in sponsorship, fulfilment, service operations, inventory management or a similarly complex operating environment.
• Strong capability in governance, forecasting, process design, controls, data quality and operational risk.
• A track record of diagnosing systemic issues and leading large-scale operational improvement and change.
• Strong analytical, planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to turn data into decisions.
• Demonstrated influence across diverse stakeholders, plus commercial acumen in supplier and service-performance management.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or professional accreditation are desirable.
