The Opportunity to be a Changemaker
Reporting to the Operations Lead, we are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to manage Change Coffee’s social media platforms and bringing to life Change Coffee’s brand plus content and impact on social media, and via segment relevant content across all digital channels.
In addition to using social media channels to build Change Coffee’s brand presence (and other associated metrics) there is a strong focus on creating end-to-end digital content creative, including audience journeys and landing pages that increase conversion.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Social Media Engagement
- Planning and Creating Content that engages audience participation (posts, stories, reels etc)
- Aligning Little things Café and Change coffee using cross promotion techniques
- Working with Change Coffee Manager to create campaigns to increase brand awareness
- Corresponding to customer messages via social media and email or telephone where necessary
- Branded Communications
- Newsletter creations to wholesale and retail customers
- Using Story hub and other World Vision resources that have external approval to communicate WV impact and appropriate messaging
- Updating website with current information wherever necessary
- Pursue partnerships - Look for aligned brands and work together with CC Manager to promote Change Coffee to their audience using different methods (cross promo, giveaways, competitions, social post shout out of recognition etc)
- Advertising - Occasionally set up Facebook ads and monitor using approved advertising budget spends from Change Coffee Manager.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, advertising, journalism or similar
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and other Social Media best practices.
- Proven portfolio of work to showcase skills
- Ability to articulate a message in and engaging and entertaining way
- Embraces change and seeks to stay informed with the current zeitgeist
- Effective at condensing large volumes of text into simple to read communications
- Photography skills

This role is a casual position and will be based in Little Things Café, Blackburn, Melbourne.
