Donor & Partner Content Specialist
Use the power of storytelling to inspire transformational giving.
At World Vision Australia, every donor and partner relationship has the potential to create lasting impact for children and communities around the world. We're looking for an exceptional writer and strategic storyteller to join our Relationship Fundraising team as a Donor & Partner Content Specialist.
This is a unique opportunity for a content professional who thrives on translating complex information into compelling, tailored communications that inspire major donors, philanthropists, foundations, and corporate partners to invest in meaningful change.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Major Giving, you'll create high-quality, bespoke fundraising content that supports some of our most significant donor and partner relationships. You'll work closely with Relationship Managers and subject matter experts to develop:
- Compelling funding proposals and cases for support
- Persuasive pitch decks and presentations
- Tailored donor impact reports
- Stewardship and engagement communications
- Opportunity-specific fundraising materials that drive meaningful supporter engagement and investment
This is a hands-on content creation role where you'll transform technical program, financial and impact information into clear, accurate and persuasive narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
What You'll Bring
We're seeking a skilled communicator with:
- Significant experience writing fundraising, philanthropy, partnership, or relationship-based content
- A proven ability to develop proposals, cases for support, impact reports, and donor communications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- The ability to interpret complex program, financial, and impact data and convert it into engaging content
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with subject matter experts
- A passion for creating high-quality content that drives donor and partner engagement
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, fundraising, journalism, business or a related discipline.
Joining World Vision means becoming part of a purpose-driven organisation committed to creating lasting change for vulnerable children and communities worldwide. You'll work alongside passionate professionals while contributing directly to fundraising initiatives that make a genuine difference.
If you're a talented writer who can transform complexity into compelling donor stories and wants your work to have real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
